Over eighty guests joined us for a Moroccan art exhibit, sale, and silent auction &#8211; proceeds from the evening will go towards implementing HAF&#8217;s first\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.globalgiving.com\/pr\/2100\/proj2015a.html\">potable water project in the Tifnoute Valley<\/a>. This project will bring clean drinking water to five villages (approximately 1,600 people) in one of the most remote regions of Morocco.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to our featured artists &#8211; Hamid Kachmar, Alan Keohane, Julie Klear Essakalli, and Dennie Kirtley &#8211; for helping to make the evening so special, as well as Elizabeth Letts Alalou for being with us to sign copies of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mcleanandeakin.com\/shop.php?PAGE=DISPLAY&amp;cust_id=&amp;user_num=&amp;cust_status=&amp;prod_id=2094&amp;cat_id=58\">The Butter Man<\/a>.\u00a0We\u00a0are grateful\u00a0to event sponsors\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ml.com\/index.asp?id=7695_15125\">Merrill Lynch<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.oussadentours.com\/\">Oussaden Tours<\/a>,\u00a0and to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.taginedining.com\/\">Tagine Dining Gallery<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/zerza.com\/\">Zerza<\/a>\u00a0for donatiing the delicious Moroccan food.
