{"id":1106,"date":"2018-10-23T12:30:20","date_gmt":"2018-10-23T10:30:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/didouqen.com\/?p=1106"},"modified":"2021-02-23T10:10:29","modified_gmt":"2021-02-23T10:10:29","slug":"moving-my-home-community-forward","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordpress-haf.ddev.site\/moving-my-home-community-forward\/","title":{"rendered":"Moving my Home Community Forward"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Another Touch in Rhamna with HAF<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center !important;\" align=\"center\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-1107 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/highatlasfoundation.org\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000-300x180.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"304\" height=\"182\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wordpress-haf.ddev.site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000-300x180.jpg 300w, https:\/\/wordpress-haf.ddev.site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000-768x461.jpg 768w, https:\/\/wordpress-haf.ddev.site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000-1024x614.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/wordpress-haf.ddev.site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000-370x222.jpg 370w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 304px) 100vw, 304px\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After three months with the High Atlas Foundation, I returned again to my origins in the Rhamna province, where I had the chance to earlier bring the benefit of more than 400 trees on the 16<b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b>\u00a0of January \u2013 for the planting event on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Today \u2013 the 3<b><sup>rd<\/sup><\/b>\u00a0of April \u2013 I visited those seven schools to:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; Distribute the certificates &#8211; appreciating all the efforts of students and teachers as they take care of the trees<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; Inspire the students to smile<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; Build upon the health of the trees that we planted<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; Discuss future projects with HAF<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I can say that I still really get priceless information about the environment with the High Atlas Foundation.\u00a0 I appreciate the good work of the active students and teachers as they create more than green spaces at their schools.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The distribution of certificates reflects our sincere gratitude to the students and teachers at Rhamna schools who planted the 400 almond, fig, and pomegranate trees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When we planted the trees at the event, I noted the many smiles of students.\u00a0 That is exactly the what happened when we gave them the certificates.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That was a precious feeling when the students came running and hugged me.\u00a0 I really learned many things about responsibility from these moments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As I look at the trees, I was surprises that I found they grew with green leaves.\u00a0 The schools\u2019 spaces became so green, and here I can say that we already achieved one of many goals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The last step was to discuss with Mr. Mehdi, the president of the association WASSIL, about future projects with HAF; one of them is an action to plant more than 2,000 trees around 7 villages, with more than 1,000 beneficiaries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With this collaboration, we are making green spaces for our youth and communities of the Kingdom of Morocco.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Another Touch in Rhamna with HAF After three months with the High Atlas Foundation, I returned again to my origins in the Rhamna province, where I had the chance to earlier bring the benefit of more than 400 trees on the 16th\u00a0of January \u2013 for the planting event on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
