The High Atlas Foundation is proud of its partnership with the University of Virginia, which began in 2018. Since then, 35 students have studied Participatory Development in Practice under HAF President Dr. Yossef Ben-Meir, a visiting professor at UVa, and interned with HAF in Morocco and virtually.

UVa student interns have contributed substantially to HAF programs, research and development, and communications. HAF has assisted 8 of these student interns to publish for the first time, and it is an honor to collect and display the published works of our former UVa student interns in this space.
