As of the end of December 2021, 14,000 trees were distributed in Gorrama and 6,000 more olive trees are to be distributed by the first week of January 2022 in Meknes. Tree distribution in 2021 went well, with 60,000 having been delivered between Azilal province and the Draa Tafilalte region, which is three times as many as had been delivered by the same time last year. 

A local association in Demnate has indicated that they have about 300 hectares of land on which they want to plant trees. HAF staff will visit the area, record the GPS points, and document the land there after meeting with the local community.
