Lamia Fikrat has a combined experience of nine years in consulting and in the energy and environment industry. She is currently an active board member of the High Atlas Foundation (HAF), whose mission is to improve the quality of life for rural Moroccans across a range of projects including supporting sustainable farming, developing clean drinking water, and promoting female empowerment and engagement in society. During her career, Lamia served as a Strategy & Management Consultant at Roland Berger, a leading European consulting firm in Paris. In this role, Mrs. Fikrat worked on 20+ projects across a wide range of industries mainly focusing on strategy, business development, and transformation issues. In 2015, Mrs. Fikrat wanted to contribute to the development of the renewable energy sector in Morocco. She held the position of Strategy & Business Development Manager at Nareva Holding, the African leader in energy and environment. In this role, she was responsible for the business development of several projects in Morocco, Egypt and Senegal, including the 850 MW wind farm project in Morocco (1.2 bn USD). In 2018, Mrs. Fikrat decided to focus on helping private companies grow their businesses and became an interim executive manager / independent consultant. Born in Safi, Lamia Fikrat speaks English, Arabic, Moroccan Arabic, French, and Spanish. She has a Master’s degree in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris and a Master’s degree in Management from ESCP London Business School. Additionally, Mrs. Fikrat is a Techwomen alumni. Lamia mentors many entrepreneurs in Africa and helps them grow their businesses.
