The High Atlas Foundation (HAF) is reconnecting with former Peace Corps Volunteers to serve as volunteer experts as part of the USAID Farmer-to-Farmer (F2F) Program in Morocco, which is being administered by HAF through 2023. RPCVs are invited to apply for assignments of two weeks or longer to help build the capacities of Moroccan cooperatives, associations, and education centers in the Marrakech, Beni-Mellal, and Oujda regions.
HAF is seeking F2F Volunteers who are business planners and website designers alike. We are looking for experts in irrigation and agroforestry, professionals in value-added processing and organic certification, and those with real proficiency in achieving food safety and agricultural-related goals, from nurseries to Moroccan markets. We want to work with F2F Volunteers who will provide expertise in empowering groups of women and men toward achieving agricultural production and employment.
We encourage RPCVs to learn more about the F2F program and how to become F2F Volunteers in Morocco. We also hope that you will read our latest newsletter, which highlights our hopes to bring Morocco RPCVs back as F2F Volunteers–and contact us with any questions.
Founded by former Peace Corps Volunteers in 2000, HAF is a Moroccan and U.S. nonprofit organization dedicated to sustainable development that is driven by community participation. Since 2011, HAF has had Consultative Status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
