MUSICALITY CLUB PRESENTS RITA SAHER AT CARNEGIE HALL

The High Atlas Foundation is proud to partner with the Musicality Club at Carnegie Hall for an evening of classic music performed by the blossoming Moroccan pianist, Rita Saher. HAF embraces this unique opportunity to celebrate Moroccan talent in New York, bringing attention to HAF’s development projects in Morocco and reaffirming its strong ties across the Atlantic. Musicality Club is an association founded on compassion for classical music and a passion for introducing young musicians to the public eye. Rita Saher, the evening’s entertainer, was born Casablanca where she studied classical piano and achieved great recognition for her abilities from an early age. Saher has participated in prestigious international festivals as well as giving solo concerts in Morocco and abroad.

The High Atlas Foundation is honored to benefit from this showcase of one of Morocco’s great talents, with half of the proceeds from ticket sales going to fund HAF projects in Morocco, including planting fruit tree nurseries, building irrigation systems, and securing organic certification that increase rural families’ income 400% over a 5 year period.  HAF brings clean drinking water to remote villages, which directly decreases infant mortality rates and increases girls’ attendance in schools.  HAF is committed to projects that profoundly benefit children and women.  Enjoy an evening of music with deep implications for Moroccan human development.

Please support the arts and development in Morocco at Carnegie Hall on Saturday, December 15 at 8 PM. Tickets are available online at carnegiehall.org.

The High Atlas Foundation, a nonprofit Moroccan and U.S. organization founded in 2000 by former Peace Corps Volunteers, establishes development projects in Morocco that local communities design and manage, and that are in partnership with government and non-government agencies.
