The High Atlas Foundation had an incredible day – January 16th, Martin Luther King Day, HAF’s annual tree planting celebration.
We would like to greatly thank the United States Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, Dwight Bush, Sr., for joining the students of Larbi Doghmi and HAF’s President, Dr. Yossef Ben-Meir, as we together recognized the power and good of volunteerism and united as we planted trees. Here we are on Morocco’s television Channel 1.
HAF also signed a partnership agreement with the Education Delegation of Temara-Skhirat and the Science Teachers Association to grow community nurseries at schools of the province. We are committed to do the same with the Education Delegations of Moulay Yacoub and Ifrane.
As part of this annual event, we planted trees with the children (Sami’s Project) and communities in the provinces of Al Haouz, Azilal, Boujdour, Chichaoua, Essaouira, Fez, Figuig, Ifrane, Khenifra, Mohammedia, Rhamna, Taza, Taroudant, and Youssoufia.
Join us. Give to grow. We are about the entire agricultural value-chain, community planning, and sustainable human development.
Ambassador Dwight Bush, your friendship is heartwarming, and we hope that your memories of the 16th, that interfaith day in Akrich and that joyful evening reception at your residence will be ones that remind of your great legacy of advancing Moroccan unity and prosperity. All at the High Atlas Foundation send best wishes to you and Mrs. Bush, and hope we see you again soon in the Kingdom of Morocco.
Enjoy pictures.
