The High Atlas Foundation hosted its second annual reception on September 21, 2006 at the Urban Center in New York City. The speeches were passionate and inspiring, and the High Atlas Foundation raised critical support to plant one million trees in the next two years.

The High Atlas Foundation sincerely thanks Carol Bellamy, H.E. André Azoulay, and Kevin Jeans-Gail for a most memorable evening, and of course our over 120 guests.

The memorial in tribute to Kate Jeans-Gail moved all of us. With the money raised for this special fund, we will build a tree nursery that will include 100,000 fruit saplings this January – a project that will profoundly benefit 1,000 rural Moroccan families.
