On March 14, 2022, the HAF Family Literacy team in Beni Mellal-Khenifra was invited to attend the 3rd International Symposium on Innovation and Entrepreneurship held by the National School of Commerce and Management in Beni Mellal (in French, ENCG Beni Mellal).

The invitation was a great place to meet many people, including the following attendees:

  • Dr. Nabil Hmina, President of the Université Sultan Moulay Slimane
  • Dr. Belaiyach Hadadi, Dean of the Poly Disciplinary Faculty
  • Dr. Mohamed Sabri, Vice President of the ENCG Beni Mellal
  • Mr. Abderrahman Jaber, Director of the Department of Social Service, INDH
  • Ms. Maha Ech-Chefaa, Executive Director at ENACTUS Morocco

As the program coordinator, I was asked to introduce the High Atlas Foundation and its great role in sustainable development at the meeting. I also spoke about the partnership that will engage the USMS in the implementation of the Family Literacy program in Beni Mellal-Khenifra, which is financed by the European Union.

After the meeting, Mr. Sabri, Vice President of ENCG Beni Mellal, mentioned the institute’s strong motivation to sign this partnership with HAF. He added that it will be very beneficial for the foundation as well as for them. The creation of this partnership is in progress and will be ready to be signed by Dr. Nabil Hmina, President of USMS, and HAF President, Dr. Yossef Ben-Meir.

This publication was produced with the financial support of the European Union. Its contents are the sole responsibility of the High Atlas Foundation and do not necessarily reflect the views of the European Union.
