On July 19, the Farmer-to-Farmer (F2F) program team traveled to Demnate in the Azilal province of the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region, accompanied by U.S. F2F volunteers Alena Klimas and Abigale Kate, to launch two assignments: training on organizational operations with Wachmat Cooperative and training on e-Marketing with Sanad Cooperative.

During the gathering, the team presented assignments, creating a comfortable and casual atmosphere. Errachid Montassir, HAF’s F2F Country Manager prioritized the establishment of a safe environment that encouraged beneficiaries to ask questions and voice concerns about their businesses. The answers provided by the F2F volunteer experts fueled their confidence and led to stronger participation.

This successful roundtable discussion was a meaningful highlight of the visit. The members of both cooperatives, who work in the agriculture field, strive to create a future in which all women are self-reliant, truly empowered, and appreciated in their communities. The incredible women who were present believe in their goals regardless of what anyone says or where they are in life. They were excited for an exchange of ideas and techniques used by F2F volunteers in the training workshop.

The F2F team is proud to act as advocates for social change in Morocco alongside its dedicated volunteer experts.
